Gerard, Anastasia, Daniel, Belle

The group gathers up their belongings as well as Jonesy's and makes their way towards Chisel Town. Belle watches Daniel, the bat-like creature, morph before her eyes as he shifts into a human shaped form. It's a rather repulsive process of undulating muscles and flesh, but her experience as an Apok buffers her from being affected by the site. This human form is definitely more pleasing to look at. One might even call him better looking than average. He has shoulder length blond hair and ocean blue eyes. His approximately 24 year old body is lean, but the muscles are well defined. It's a stark contrast to the corpse-like creature that he was before.

It's late afternoon when the group of travelers catch their first glimpse of the walled city. The city is pretty large, although no where near as big as Worldgate or Golden City. It's surrounded by a medium height wall grown from the ground of Wormwood. Well before reaching the nearest gate, they start encountering a few buildings outside the walls. This "shanty town" area appears run down as if the residents in this area don't really care much how they live. The buildings themselves are in fine shape...being grown from Wormwood and all, but debris litters the ground here and there as if no one cares to pick it up. It reminds Daniel of a run down trailer park back on earth. Up ahead, the group can see guards walking the walls and monitoring the flow of people going in and out of the gates.

Daniel is feeling much better now, his natural abilities having healed all of the damage he sustained during the fight with the goblins. The others will have to sleep or meditate before their damage is healed. {OOC: Gerard 14 damage, Anastasia 14 damage, Belle 33 damage. What form is Daniel currently in and is he planning on changing before the group encounters people?}

As they get close to the city, Belle asks, "Any idea where your friend Darl might be?"

While serving the Unholy, she saw quite a bit much more grotesque than Daniel's transformation. It is not something she has seen however and it quite interesting in its own way.

Daniel ponders the question of where the big blue guy could be at then he smiles ,"Sense he tends to always seek info bout things .How bout the merchant district ? That would be my guess ."

As the group walks on up to town Daniel shifts the weight in his backpack fo the straps would fit on his shoulders abit more confertable .

"Where do you guys want to start looking ? "

[giggles]

Anastasia smiles at Gerard and looks over at Belle "Yes were close enough that way but not related Belle, but I think sometimes we are closer than a real family and watch out for each other like a family a little more as well. And now that we have new friends with us now, they are becoming close to us and who knows, they to may be considered as family before too long in one way or another, since we've been thru so much together and all. But yes I think we should get going and talk along the way but maybe not about personal things at this point in time but more of what were going to be doing in town. Belle, as for our friend, I really don't know much more than that we were suppose to meet up with each other with whatever we had found out and go from there. I thought we would be with him at this point and find it very strange that we haven't seen him or any traces of his whereabouts. I do hope he is doing good and will be meeting with us soon tho. Anyone else have any ideas on where he may be?"

Belle asks simply, "Is there a tavern that you think you might find him at? I know the town a bit and can suggest a few that might be possible."
She does not have her mask on at the moment and there is none of the feeling f the danger that one might feel otherwise.

""Otherwise, I don't think he would do very well at hiding and somebody should have seen him," the blond haired figure adds.
She continues looking around as she walks.

The group of weary travelers pass through the open gates into the city. Before making it many steps further, one of the guards steps in front of Anastasia, blocking her progress. "I have a message for you." He says in a gruff voice. "He holds out his empty hand, palm up as if waiting for something.

After walking the rest of the way to town listening to the others and remaining silent Gerard takes a look around as he sees the guard stop them abruptly.

OCC- Would Gerard know much about the town as he has spent most of his time traveling around? Wondering if he might know the guard or any guards around the group.

The guard does not seem to be directly addressing her. Besides, she was not even with these people just a few hours ago.
As such, Belle will step a couple of steps back and let the others speak to the guard. She has suspicions of who it might be from but she will see.

Daniel notices the guard steps out infront of Anastasia with his hand out .
Daniel walks up next to Anastasia and the guard ,"Whats the problem ,Anastasia ? "
Daniel looks at the guard ,"What do you want ? "

[giggles]

Anmastasia looks at the stranger and sees if theres anything unusaual about him or anything she can make of his question but doesn't at this pint and just replies, "What is this you have for me, and also why for me only, or is it for all of us?"
She now waits for the answer but still observes whats going on around in their surroundings.
