Ivy and Chrome: Chapter 112
Re: Ivy and Chrome: Chapter 112
Looking at the others, the red haired women states "Yes, unless you want to be slaves, food, or get thrown in an arena."
Might be good if I describe her just a bit. Pretty flamboyant actually.
Reddish blond hair in a pony tail.
She is wearing what appears to be an old style British naval hat and jacket. Both the type you see from Horatio Hornblower if you know the series.
Has a pair of what look like naval sabres on her sides.
Probably the most unusual in her outfit is that she seems to be wearing a lightweight body suit but over top appears to be a corset.

"Options, folks ..." Tyran states, recognizing that the others may still be somewhat distracted by the events past, and not realizing the seriousness of their current situation. "We can either run, hide, or stand and fight."
"If there are any nexus points nearby, I can hide us for a few hours, until they pass. If a triple nexus point, and with help, we may even be able to catch them off guard and go on the offensive."
"Bill? Lori? ... is there anything close?"
"I can try and teleport us out of here, but that's going to be risky ... and may be an all-or-nothing approach. It'll take time, and help from everyone; and carries risks of it's own."
Via Dirk, Tyran turns his vision away from the slavers, and scans the horizon for any signs of the Millenium tree they had seen earlier ... which should in turn guarantee a nexus point, and some additional help/defense against the Slavers.

OOC: Yes, Betty is with her.
Calling to Kila but loud enough that the others can probably hear, "Splugorth Slavers, half dozen, we need to get out of here." There is a tone of slight, but definitely controlled panic in her voice.
Kila looks at Cassandra and nods as she says "great...can we make to the forest?" . (Slavers, crap! I really wish Raven was here) she cant help but think as she keeps her eyes on the forest again. Kila starts to move slowly toward the forest as she tries to sense if anything evil is coming from that direction. Kila concentrates for a moment and finds that she cannot sense any evil.
"Slaver Barges are pretty slow. The barges can only move a bit over fifty miles per hour," Cassandra states. "I can easily outrun them on my wing board but not sure how you might be able to do it? If they capture me, they will not sell me or put in their games, they will either kill me outright or torture me."
Kila nods as she moves. "Then, let's not get caught. I can image what they would do with me then," She says as she glances at Cassandra then back over her shoulder. Betty gives a slight winny.
Tyran looks up at the wingboard as it flies into view, at the same time noticing the slaver barges off the shore.
"There's the flyer and one other looking this way ... but never mind them. We've got bigger trouble on the horizon. Splugorth slaver barges, maybe six of them ... not far off the shore." he states to the others. "Anyone got any special tricks up their sleeves?" he asks. "If so, now might be a good time to let us know about it ..."
Lori gets to her feet, nothing like an adrenaline surge to clear one's head, and hearing that Splugorth were headed your way is a good reason to get an adrenaline surge. She quickly checks herself over for injuries and to see what equipment she has on her. Lori pauses briefly as she realizes that she has no idea where she is or how she got there, or where her ATV is for that matter. She can only hope that her memory will come back on it's own, there's more immediate problems to worry about. She'll reach out with her mystic senses, trying to locate nearby leylines/nexuses and looking over those with her. At least she knows Tyran,."Which way are the Slavers coming from?"
Lori can sense a leyline less than half a mile away. It's a rather strong one. Several other ley lines crisscross across the nearby region and surrounding ocean, creating nexus points, however, there are no open rifts within range. She also notices quite a few people missing from before. As she takes into account, she can actually see Gor fade from view. Even his visible magical energy disappears with him. She can almost hear a distant yet low, gutteral laugh come from elsewhere as he fades, his final expression is one of confusion.
Tyran points in the direction from which the Slavers are approaching. "Hmm ... how far to the nearest nexus?" he asks out loud, to noone inparticular.
"Great just what we need...slavers to add more fun to our party.." Kira looks around waiting to see what the ones that seem to know more about these slavers want to do. "So I take it we need to get the hell out of here like now as it sounds like they are bad news?"
Raven nods, "Yea... you could say that." He seems to have a confused look on his face as he also noticed Gor fade. He faintly mutters under his breath, "That was so long ago... I understand now..."

Lori can sense a triple nexus point roughly twenty seven miles to the east. The closest nexus is about seven miles away.
"I can try and teleport us out of here, but that's going to be risky ... and may be an all-or-nothing approach. It'll take time, and help from everyone; and carries risks of it's own." Tyran continues.

Dirk views the tree on the horizon, much farther than any human eyes can see. This would mean that the Tree is over twenty-five miles away.
Out in the open, with Cassandra, Kila swears that she hears a familiar voice come from within the brush, for just a moment. What sounds like a young teenage kid seems to over power the voice with his banter to everyone. She also keeps hearing a whisper on the wind, 'fInD mE... tHe FoRgOtTeN.."
Watching the horizon, both Cassandra and Dirk notice the slavers are moving closer. It won't be long until they reach shore.

Re: Ivy and Chrome: Chapter 112
"We need to move soon," states the honey haired woman. she especially looks at Kila. She does not know the others but has no plans to abandon a friend. Doesn't have any personal animosity to them but you can only care for you and yours. If there was only one barge, she might suggest fighting them.
"Suggest we head inland at an angle so as to not give them a straight line to catch us," she suggests.
ooc: Question, can a Wingboard carry an additional passenger with a slower speed? Even at half speed, it would still be faster than the slavers.

Re: Ivy and Chrome: Chapter 112
Kila glances around her eyes scanning the wind before she pats Betty on the nose. " its ok old friend we're leaving" she says softly to her horse before jumping into the saddle. She hold the reins in her right and as she turns Betty toward the brush. "Cassandra lead the way please I'll keep my eyes on our backs." Kila says as she glances toward the voice and people in the bushes. She can't help but think ( I know that voice...). Kila looks back over her shoulder in the direction the wind is blowing and says under her breath to it, "I'll find you I promise."

OOC: Yes, and yes it would be alot slower considering her weight.
First, a female wearing some leather-made clothing, rather attractive with long curly brunette hair appears from the foliage in front of Kila and Cassandra. Then, what looks like a young teenager with some wierd looking scarf, which seems to be moving on its own, steps out from behind her. Afterwards, another green-haired female followed by what looks like a brunette, tall female with striking green eyes. Following them is a petite blonde woman standing beside a short cut, dark haired man, which causes Kila's heart to skip a beat. It's Raven! He hasn't noticed her yet, he seems to be looking out over the ocean.

Re: Ivy and Chrome: Chapter 112
Kila watches as the women walk out of the forest then freezes her breath catching in her throat as she sees Raven. ( it can't be..) her mind screams as she looks at him waiting as she hears herself saying " Raven...". All thoughts of the slavers flying from her mind as she stares at the man she has missed for what seems like forever to her.
Re: Ivy and Chrome: Chapter 112
Cassandra does not like this. Shaking her head, she yells, "Slavers, we need to move." Maybe she can stun Kila and take her with her. The horse would likely be safe and she could come back later for it. If never forgiven for it, she did the only thing she could think of.

Raven gives Kila and Cassandra a quick glance. He doesn't recognize Kila or doesn't remember. He then turns to the young boy next to him (OOC: Tyran) "Got a plan? I'm pretty sure that we don't have the firepower to deal with that."
Jenna mutters under her breath, "Something isn't right here..."
The dark haired woman in handcrafted leather (Ricky) calls out to Kila and Cassandra, "Hi, we come in peace. Where are we?"

Re: Ivy and Chrome: Chapter 112
Tyran answers Raven, "I can teleport us to the Millenium tree ... there should at least be the potential for help there. But I suspect it's going to take everything that you, Lori, Bill, and I can muster to pull it off. If nothing else, it should have a nexus, and that will open up other options."
"But to move this many people, I'm going to need a lot of help ... everyone gather close, and I'll need the casters to give me everything you've got ... Bill, Lori, Raven ... all in?"
Assuming the other casters agree, he will gesture folks closer and begin to prepare for the casting of the teleport spell, despite the nagging worry in the back of his mind. "Meet us at the tree," he mentally commands Dirk, planning on leveraging the falcon's sight to lock on to the tree as he casts. "And let's pray the inhabitants grant our request for refuge, instead of deciding to simply have their fun with us ..." he adds silently to himself. "... perhaps again?"
The last thing he remembered was wanting to head for that same tree, and ending up here both dazed and confused. But he knew that staying was not an alternative ... they would have to take the risk.
