Ivy and Chrome: Chapter 112
Re: Ivy and Chrome: Chapter 112
OOC yes there are Ley Lines around. In fact, there is one less than 1/4 mile, but not visible yet.
OOC: Does anyone need a copy of their character sheet?

Re: Ivy and Chrome: Chapter 112
ooc: I think 1/4 miles is close enough she can use the Ley Line to use her Ley Line board to fly to the ship
ic: Cassandra gets on her Ley Line Board and uses it to fly to the ship.

Ivy and Chrome: Gor, Tyran, Lori, Kira
As the heavy veil and dizzying cobwebs start to lift themselves from his consciousness, Tyran rubs his face and shakes his head as if to try and wipe away the lingering effects of a spell gone wrong. "Just keep moving," he tells himself, "and the effects will fade."
But move *where*? They were moving, but it seemed more of a blind march than purposeful movement to any particular destination. Lifting his head, he stops staring at the ground immediately in front of him, and starts scanning the vista ahead, to try and sort out where they were and where they were headed.
Internally, he takes a mental stock of his facilities. Was he hurt? Any injuries? How were his magical energies ... full, or depleted? Not remembering the previous encounter was disconcerting, he knew ... but whatever had happened, it was over now; no sense in dwelling on it for too long. The worst case scenario right now, he knew, would be to let the disorientation distract them; and end up blundering forward into another bad scenario.
Other than his memory, Tyran feels fine. How did Lori end up on the stretcher? Her eyes slowly open. Lori begins looking around confusedly as the sounds of voices emanate from the brush and maybe farther away. They sound like they could possibly be female voices.
Kira looks around as she continues on carrying the stretcher. "Hey all I still feel like we are really in some kind of danger. I can't shake it so if it's even possible lets be as alert as we can. I'm still trying to piece together what the hell happened. Anyone else know? It all seems so cloudy right now..." Kira's voice trails off as she continues to keep alert.
Raven looks to the his right, which he knows to be west and squints, "We have company..." he says quietly under his breath.

Ivy and Chrome: Kila and Cassandra
Kila bites her bottom lip as she looks around. "Seems like we might be in the middle of something that probably won't end well," she says softly as she tries thinking through all the spells she knows for something helpful just in case.
Cassandra pulls out her ley line board and gets ready to glide out to the ship. More movement and voices come from the brush behind them. At least half a dozen people must be moving and not too stealthy about it. The schooner is only about ten feet from the rotted dock.
Cassandra begins gliding out, noticing that ship is anchored and the dock had actually collapsed at the end. The wood on the boat needs to be retreated and a lot of work done to restore the hull of the ship. It still floats. The hole is a problem if there are ever rough seas and the ship looks completely stripped of supplies. The ropes may need replacing and the sails resewn. The ship is in bad shape, but will float.
Meanwhile, out to sea, the three dots become four and are moving closer.
Kila recognizes one of the voices as a female human voice for sure. Glancing back, she can faintly make out a single file line of people silhouetted in the darkness of the forest.

Kila looks from Cassandra to the forest before she turns and faces the trees to seewhat trouble may be coming. She brings her hand up to the necklace she wears twisting it slowly in her fingers as she watches.
Re: Ivy and Chrome: Chapter 112
Seeing people in the bush, (ooc: If I understand correctly) Cassandra wheels her wing board back around and takes a good look at the approaching figures.
At the moment, the red haired woman does not draw any weapons although has her hand at her belt.

"Friend, foe, or other?" Tyran asks in response.
Mentally, he sends Dirk to scan the area towards the female voices, to try and see what they were going to have to deal with next.
