"I'm ok thanks but I need to get Zeke overhere and out of harms way." Gerard whistles a short note hoping Zeke will find his way over. "I agree we need to help Jordan and also help him get over to us once those goblins in the pathway are delt with. We also need to look at seeing what we can do about the other threats as it seems like we walked right into this mess..." Gerard sighs and holsters his pistol and unslings his rifle.

Daniel hearing what the others plan to do he yells through the darness , "Just get your asses tot he pillars , I will help jordan .. I can take more punishment then the two of you !!!! "

Daniel waits a minute longer then pulls out his whipchain and gets ready for the hell he intends to bring .
As the chains hits the ground , Daniel holds the chain at half its 15 foot length and studies all he sees for the creatures ahead of him .

The darkness around the group is oppressive and unnatural to Anastasia and Gerard, who rarely have experienced a night without moon and stars shining above. Gerard looks through the darkness and can see the outline of Zeke not too far away. He looks no worse for wear considering the grenade the hurt Anastasia and Gerard should have killed Zeke. {OOC: Zeke is not an MDC creature, as soon as possible you may want to get some sort of armor for him. The grenade should have killed him, but I'm not in the habit of doing things like that if you haven't really had a good opportunity to properly equip your mount. Be careful, though, these goblin's can be difficult for a GM to control. } Zeke doesn't come to Gerard's whistle. He does shake his head as if trying to rid it of buzzing flies, however.

Anastasia finds a pillar to hide behind. It's an average sized pillar and if she stands sideways it should conceal her from being a target to the shooters on the hill. In the darkness, that's about all she can make out.

Daniel estimates that he has made it about half way to Jordan and the goblins and now must decide what to do when he gets there. He can now see Jordan and the goblins through the gloom. Jordan is fully engaged with the three goblins. As he attacks one, another strikes him across the back with his short-sword. Jordan doesn't even seem to notice the strike as he continues his swing to strike at the next target. {OOC: One more action to arrive at the site of the battle. Go ahead and declare Daniel's attack action as well.}

Daniel sees that Jordan fighting off the goblins , one looks to be circling around . He yells at Jordan ," Fall back and cover the others . " Daniel takes a quick look around for more enemies then decides to use his hand again as a targeting devise and aims at legs of that goblin and hopes he don't hit Jordan in the process .

A ball of black flame flies unseen from The Reaper's hand to wreak havoc among his enemies. Darkness temporarily enfolds the legs of the nearest goblin soldier fighting with Darl and he yelps in pain and jumps sideways to see where this new attack came from. His eyes shine through the unnatural darkness and look straight at Daniel.

"Hey! Go find your own play toys," Jordan yells out as he prepares another swing with his sword. "These one's are mine. .......And if this darkness is your doing, take it with you. Goblins are better in the dark than they are in the light."

Another explosion hits very near Daniel and he feels the biting sting of the blast; luckily it was an indirect hit and it did a minimal amount of damage. (9 MDC) A burst of laser fire quickly follows the explosion and sears Daniels exposed side (9 MDC ) Another, smaller but more personal explosion rocks Daniel as an exploding arrow hits him squarely in the hip. (26 MDC)

Jordan's voice can be heard above the ringing in Daniel's ears "It would seem that you've made yourself a target for whatever goblin's are up on the hillside...either that or they think they've found a kindred spirit and wish to share their wealth of ammunition with you."

Anastasia still hidden behind the pillar, thinks about this darkness and when she saw it last, if there may be some kind of tie to whats happening now or not, but shakes it out of her head for now. With all the fighting going on she only hopes that everyone's okay and can get to the pillars where shes at. Darkness being as it is, she is unable to see anything but can sense there's more danger coming.

Gerard tries to get Zeke to move to him again to get him out of harms way and behind the pillar. "Really can't see a thing so might not be wise to fire on anything over in Jordans direction." Gerard will keep an eye out to see if he can get a clear shot at anything if the darkness begins to go away.

OOC: I'm assuming you mean Locate Places of Evil, in which case...

Casting her spell, Anastasia detects no large groups of evil creatures within ten miles. The creatures attacking you are obviously not numerous enough for this spell to pick up.

Zeke does look over at Gerard this time and flicks his ears forward and back. His frightened eyes are wide orbs in the darkness. He trots over to Gerard where Gerard can attempt to hide him behind the pillar. It's not perfect, but it's better than nothing. It's also none-too-soon because as Daniel moves away the magical circle of darkness surrounding Daniel gets beyond the range of Anastasia and Gerard and they are now exposed to the light again. The shadows are deep here, however.

The sphere of darkness is now between the pair hiding in the pillars and Jordan, so the two still cannot see well enough to help Jordan. A quick look at the hillside on the other side of the road and Gerard spots at least one goblin up there. Judging by the amount of fire coming from the hill it's likely at least two or possibly three.

After hearing Jordan , Daniel decides to drop the darkness around them and takes to the air looking towards the hillside where the artilary fire is coming from . As he lifts off , he will also keep an eye out for those flying fish .

"Carefull Jordan , I dont want to have to come back and save your ass " As he flies upwards

Anastasia looks around to see the battlefield and tries to see where the goblins are at this point. With the darkness amongst her at this point its very hard but as she steps forward a little she sees what might appear to be one of the goblins ..but not quite sure.She awaits for a few minutes to get a better sight on the source.
