Gerard, Anastasia, Darl

OOC: Per my previous posts and comments, we fast forwarded over the tedious job telling each other tales of our recent travels. This was mainly due to the fact that we lost most of the players. Assume that everything involving the five characters at this table has been shared in it's essence. The details about how each character accomplished tasks (spells, attacks, weapons, etc.) are still your secrets, but information about who you were up against and who you each of the PC's talked to is now public knowledge within this five person group. Like I said, that was just to make my life easier since we lost over half of the players.

Anastasia looks at Darl ..ponders over whats being said.."Maybe you have taken this all in after all but it seems some have forgotten what were looking for, which spawns back to the town where the demons attacked and the Father asked us to retrieve an object. That is what were doing is to find out more about these demons and retrieve the object as soon as possible. So you and I should start looking to talk to people while The Redeemer and Gerard are searching in their way. Any suggestions to whom we shall seek out first?"

OOC: Thanks for the clarification, Joe. Apparently, I had some extra reading to do!

IC:

Darl sighs. 'Please, I really do wish you would stop insulting my intelligence.'

"I'm asking for your analysis ... speculation ... best guess - not a regurgitation of what I have already personally experienced."

Sensing he isn't really getting through to her, he changes tactics. Reaching into a pocket, he pulls out the small metal token with an enamaled circle in the center and places it on the table. "You're some kind of seer or something, right? Well perhaps you can get a read off of this ..." Turning to the others, he asks, "Ever seen anything like this before?" before focusing on the object himself.

[giggles]

Anastasia looks down at the object, looks at Darl.."Yes I am of sorts and im not insulting you I was only saying that others have forgotten and maybe need to be reminded..for now I will try to get what I can off reading this."

[giggles]

Anastasia takes the token from Darl. As she looks at the token one side is completely smooth except for the scuff marks and scratches one would expect on a coin. Flipping the coin to the other side, has markings around the edge that could be a language of sorts. She doesn't recognize any of them and has never seen anything similiar before. As she peers more closely, she notices a black enameled circle that adorns the center.Struggling to find out the answers, Anastasia frustrated having no spiritual insights from this token.
Anastasia puts the token back down and looks at Darl trying to hold back the somewhat puzzled look on her face. "Maybe something will come to me later on from this token if I do something else for a while, maybe eat a little something" she says to her self.
Excuse me for just a few minutes, please (as she walks away)

Jordan frowns in puzzlement and worry at Anastasia's reaction to the coin. Getting up he says to the group "Pardon me as well." and moves to follow Anastasia. Catching up to her says in a hushed voice "What's going on, are you okay?"

Anastasia notices a man that has entered and is seated at a nearby table. He watches the two of them leaving the table before the proprietor shows up to see if he would like something to eat.

Anastasia shakes off her trying to figure out that token and tells Jordan, "Well, I was looking into that token to see what I could come up with and not getting anything is frustrating because I should be able to...its not that hard and this has me somewhat befuddled at the moment. So I decided to leave and get something to eat and drink away from everyone at the table and ponder over this token, and that doesn't mean you cant join with me in a little something to eat. So why don't we order up something so I can keep my mind busy and away from thinking about that token. By the way, did you notice the stranger we had come in sitting alone near our table?"

"It will be fine. Your powers are still manifesting. Maybe another try later, or maybe it's just not something of importance." While giving Anastasia a comforting squeeze he whispers "I'm going to take a look at the coin. I'll be right back." Jordan turns back towards the rest of their group but stops before walking over there as the stranger at the table speaks.

Darl, Gerard and The Fallen watch as Anastasia and Jordan walk over to another table. The girl looks noticeably upset for some reason. While speaking together Jordan turns momentarily and looks towards a table not too far from their own before turning back to Anastasia. A quick glance reveals a young man talking to the owner. Moments after the owner passes back by the man speaks in a loud enough voice to be heard at the table. "You hunting for something Demon? You sure do stick out around here ." The accent is unusual, but after a moments consideration Darl and Gerard are reasonably certain that the translation is correct.

To Anastasia, the words sound like total Gibberish. It definitely wasn't English.

Anastasia looks down with a little disappointment, "I know its just frustrating to me at times and it seems the main focus is on this token, but maybe you can see what you come up with and ill order up some food and drinks. Maybe then, if its meant to be, I will be able to see something in that token. For now you go on over and I will wait here for you."
This stranger is odd and speaking jibberish on and on. "I wonder what is up with this stranger and why hes here?" she asks herself.
Well instead of worrying about this stranger and the token she orders up food and drinks and now just awaits it to come so she can try to move on with this token business.

Hearing what the man says Gerard glances over at him to see what he can infer by the looks of him. Gerard then glances over at Anastasia to see if she shows any response to what the man said. "Interesting" Gerard says to himself. "Well here goes nothing." Gerard gets up and heads over to the table where the man sits who made the comment. "Hello, can I join you?"
