Re: Belle

ooc: Sorry, sometimes if the post gets too far ahead of the timeline I forget what was said or chose to ignore it as it may no longer apply. In this case it was the former.

When she gets a little distance away, she will ask Jonesey, "I still will try to help you but I need to see what is going on with the Raider."

Belle is concerned that Jonesey simply cannot keep up with her. Pretty sure that she is faster than the raider being able to run around thirty miles per hour. {OOC: slight correction on the mph. Also, don't forget that this is sprint speed and even with your high PE you still can't maintain that speed for more than a couple of miles.} "Is there a place where we might meet up in a quarter to half an hour, maybe a bit down down the road?"

"I can follow you as best I can." Jonesy responds "There's a major fork in the road a few miles up the road. If I haven't caught back up to you by then I'll wait for you there. Will that work?"

The crowd of people coming and going would keep Belle from running without moving to a different street and trying there. For now, though, she can see the raider's large figure in the distance. He seems to be moving at a pretty rapid pace himself, but is not yet running. The head of Dan can barely be made out above the crowd far in the distance. She can also see that the crowd and buildings start to thin out and if she's patience for a few more minutes she'll be able to pick up her pace and likely catch up to the raider just a couple minutes after that.

Belle will check back on her companion periodically to see if he can keep it up. She will tease for a moment, "I can carry you?"
Still, if it looks like she can catch up without losing Jonesey, she will accept that it might take a few extra minutes.

Otherwise, the blond warrior will keep heading towards when shes sees the Raider and possible Dan. It looks like those will be the easiest to follow.

Jonesy gives her a withering look in response. "I'll be alright."

The raider, having cleared some of the crowd, appears to have picked up his pace into a jog, so Belle is losing ground now.

Belle gives a rare smile back to him, not taking any offense to the sour look. In another life, it is an expression that melted hearts.
The Apok will accept that the crowd will slow her down a bit but that once she gets through the worst, she can pick up her own pace.

At her current pace, Belle can maintain the gap between herself and the raider. The traffic is rapidly thinning, though, and she will be able to pick up her pace. OOC: Let me know if you plan to intercept the raider. Pretty much anything is possible at the raiders current pace: before, at the same time, or after he reaches Dan.

OOC: I'm on vacation this week so my posting may be a little slower than normal.

Occ: Sorry, got into a debate online that has been driving me bananas

ic: Belle will pick up her pace as soon as she can, attempting to catch up just a bit beforehand. She does not trust either side but if there is the life of a child involved, that has to come first.
