Gerard, Anastasia, Daniel

With Daniel and his pet goblin taking the lead, the group continues forward into the jaws of the suspected trap. Daniel is starting to wonder if he's going to walk right past the trap before getting any reaction of the ambushing party.

As Anastasia finds herself not giggling anymore and suddenly in an overwhelming fear of what she is now seeing in front of her, she tries to move and not being able to do so she yells out "Gerard..Jordan!!! Quick!! Its happening all around us!" Looking around, unable to do anything, struggling to move but there's nothing in her, like everything that once was there has been drained completely out of her. Shes not quite sure if anyone heard her so again she yells out, "Gerard!!! Jordan!!! Look!!! We have a serious problem on our hands!! Flying fish and they aren't normal but giant piranha-like ones and i can count 25 no about 30 of them!! I can't move and we need to get out of her ..help me!!"
Frantic but trying to get a hold of herself knowing that panicking isn't going to get her anywhere nor help the group, she tries with whatever she has,pushing in her mind the willpower they need to fight to get thru this, awaiting for Gerard and Jordan to do what they can as soon as they can.

[Manson-Mage]

Daniel looks straight ahead and sees the same bunch of flying fish that he dealth with a couple nights before . His feet froozen from fear , Daniel spreads his wings and tempts to fly/leap back to the rest of the group .

Daniel yells back to the group ,"Better get ready for a fight ,because we are in for it ! Watch out their teeth and claws , they got reach! "

As he temps to leap/fly back , he tosses the goblin back past the group.

Gerard is looking around and hearing the others shout an alarm and warning. Looking into the distance the others seem to be he sees nothing. "Hold on!". Gerard yells to Anastasia. "No idea if this will work but have to try something...". Gerard gets his rope from Zekes saddle and tries to lasso Anastasia. He will have Zeke slowly back up if successful trying to help Anastasia. He shoulders his weapon out of habit over the years learning not to set it down incase its needed in a hurry. "In this case looks like it will be.". He mutters to himself.

OOC: To be clear, Jordan, Anastasia, Zeke and Gerard are all pretty much together...at least within a few steps of each other. Daniel was the only one farther ahead. Let me know if you would like to modify your actions or if you still wish to use the rope on her.

Occ: ok thanks. A small change.

Gerard tries to turn her to face him away from where she seems to be looking hoping she will be able to move. He also backs Zeke up a bit, taking a look behind them to make sure nothing is coming at them that way.

Jordan scans the surround countryside looking for these flying fish. "Where?! I don't see anything." he says over top of Anastasia's hysterics. He's about to give Anastasia a good shake when Gerard beats him to it.

Gerard grabs hold of Anastasia and pulls her back towards Zeke. Her feet move with ease so it's obvious she's not physically stuck in place, but rather just paralyzed with fear. About the same time the pet goblin they've been hauling around comes tumbling towards them and a groan of pain escape it as it bangs up against a pillar on the side of the road. Daniel's throw was a little off the mark. That's not too surprising since goblins don't really make the best of spears and aren't all that easy to throw. {OOC: Sorry, Daniel doesn't have a W.P. Flying Goblin skill so no accuracy bonuses on that roll. }

Looking back down the road, Gerard and Daniel sees three goblins standing in the road with weapons drawn. Two have small shields and all three have nasty looking short swords and maniacal grins. There sharp teeth are yellow and ugly. The long afternoon shadows cast by the pillars make the area seem dusk-like and oppressive.

{OOC: Thus begins round one. I'm going to try this first round without posting initiatives as I'm going to grant the enemy first attack (attack one being them getting into position) due to the fact that the group chose to walk straight into their ambush.}

As Daniel turns around , he pulls his tail around and carefully takes aim at the middle goblin , using his shadow blast . ( ppe:15 for shadowblast )

Daniel yells back at everyone ,"Here they come guys .You better get ready to defend yourselves. "

Anastasia looks around, shaking it off, looks to Gerard "Thanks...I don't know what even happened but we definitely have a problem here." She readies herself with her saber and hunting knife , but seeing as these little goblins are far enough away, she pulls out her short bow and arrows and prepares her careful aim. She aims at the far left one very carefully as not to miss...BAM!! Shot thru the heart. (Damn im good even with a song lol)
Now preparing again, she looks around for anymore to come out before doing anything but readies her bow again.

Once Gerard sees the others go into action he unshoulders his rifle and looks back around to the front of the group in case more have come into the open. "This is going to be fun I think..."
